Cruise ship screening Our heroes sniff for safe restricted areas
If you have been on a cruise recently, you may have seen our explosives detection dogs working in and around the terminal checking stores and vehicles for explosives. The Cruise Terminal is a vibrant, busy place when the cruise ships arrive. There are many passengers both departing from the ship as well the new passengers eagerly awaiting to get aboard.
Vehicles, luggage, trucks and pallets of stores are all required to be cleared before they can enter the restricted areas of the ports. Our dogs conduct sweeps of the area and also provide entry point clearance of truck and other vehicles requiring entry into the port facility area.
